Interesting read. I have a CPU (AMD Phenom, iirc) that has bent pins, and only half it's memory works. I probably made some effort to straighten them in the past, but felt I'd break something. This gives me incentive to try again, as that's a nice CPU, even if older. I found this post through Gentoo's bugzilla ... I'm mingdao.

Me too, windows server 2012 with multiple adapters in a team. The team would not accept DHCP offers only a static IP. One of the previous NIC's must have has a DHCP lease like you were mentioning.

Edit: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

then reboot, that fixed it for me with out taking the adapter team apart

Wdym "wdym" – no I guessed it already. Not so common abbreviation in France though.

I meant the configuration for the Xorg section you were posting.

However, It is not working 100%. My right mouse button is always recognised as the middle mouse button. Maybe an issue in the button mapping?

Hi Jaysun, apologies for a reply 4 year later, but that shows often someone tries to recover a Zen! :-) I've got a 60GB VisionM too... trying with not much success to recover using 8kzenrecover. Did you get yours working in the end? Any tips? Cheers!

hey @Nyero Irikefe didn't mean to ignore, message notification must've gotten lost in the shuffle. google "xorg.conf.d", then put 51-kensington.conf file in there with contents copied from example above.

Did this. A year ago it worked OK and everything was smooth. However now I've reflashed and did this a couple of times and yes, N950 tries to upgrade apps from N9 repository and this causes problems. In my case: loss of password storage, loss of device lock, warnings (warranty expired, faulty firmware etcetc) when booting and now it looks like that it won't boot at all.

So after installing Skype it might be good to remove the repository and run apt-get update again so N950 won't download other stuff from that repository..

However thanks for pointing out how this works!

i just reflash my N950 to pr1.2, i wana include ur skype update in my N950. After ur skype installation, there several update notifications pops up. Is that ok to install other updates like twitter, nokia link accuWeather, music store, nokia drive, nokia store, maps, facebook and AP mobile?

Certain versions of sshd, even if you only use public key authentication, require shadow entry for given user NOT to start with a '!' (or to be ‘!!’). In this case the user is reported as ‘locked’.
After trying 'usermod -U <user_name>' to verify that user is unlocked and set an ordinary password for him. After that he may login through ssh/public key without a problem (assuming that your sshd_config is OK :-).

GENIUS!! You are a bloody genius!! I've had it up to my ears with people saying to either reboot or delete the entire directory(and LOOSE 5 years of chat history). You my friend drilled right down into the problem with a microscope, found exactly where the lock was originated from and then killed it at it's source.. Man, you rock.. I'm blogging all about yuo and this solution today

Lahendasin ka sarnast probleemi, peale ID tarkvara viimasele versioonile üleminekut lõpetas ID-kaardi tarkvara normaalse töö. Mõnikord õnnestus kaarti kasutada aga see oli väga juhuslik. Mõni kord jälle andis "System Logi" veateateid. Pärast päeva pikkust mässamist tuli kogemata välja et kurja juur oli hoopis Intel Wifi Client tarkvara (Intel 3945ABG). Jätsin alles ainult driverid ja kõik toimib, nii WiFi kui ka ID-Kaart.

Go to System ==> admin ==>System monitor ==> seach for skype ,right click on skype and say kill process ..It will work
